CarWatch

QuikTrak is still setting the standard in vehicle security with our CarWatch product. Our trained and accredited installation staff will install a premium car alarm covertly into your vehicle. You get the latest car alarm technology including all-black wiring, 3-point engine immobiliser, integration into the factory supplied remote, electronic tilt sensor, emergency override function and external 105 dB siren with “soft chirp”.

Of course all the expected car alarm features are there including door intrusion, boot intrusion, bonnet intrusion, ignition tamper, and blinker flashing.

Complementing the comprehensive security provided by the car alarm, we add our proven QuikTrak transponder. The CarWatch system instantly reports any triggering of the car alarm PLUS adds battery fail alert, a Personal Alert button and tracking of the vehicle should it be stolen.

PlantWatch

Many years of experience in securing all types of heavy equipment is reflected in our PlantWatch product. The transponder is housed in a waterproof metal case for maximum protection and all other components are either designed for extreme conditions or are modified by QuikTrak to survive in this harsh environment.

Specially trained technicians install the PlantWatch system covertly into your machine, including an engine immobiliser and 105 dB external siren.

The PlantWatch system automatically activates once the machine has been idle for 1 hour but can also be manually activated by a simple press of the supplied radio key-fob. Once activated, any movement or attempt to start the machine will result in the siren sounding for approximately 40 seconds.

Alerts are instantly transmitted to our 24 hour response centre for immediate action. Should your machine be stolen, QuikTrak can track its movements and summon Police to assist with recovery.

QuikTrak can provide a cost-effective tracking solution providing fleet managers with real-time information on the status of their mobile assets.

QuikTrak operates a secure radio network covering the greater metropolitan areas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Gold Coast. These networks provide a communications link for transmission of both location information and status data.

A QuikTrak transponder is installed in the vehicle and transmits location and status data to our Track Display Station (TDS) software. TDS is a Windows based application that allows tracking and monitoring of vehicles, TDS can be run on virtually any standard PC and allows access the QuikTrak network via standard internet connection.

TDS gives the fleet manager the ability to locate any particular vehicle or the entire fleet on request with the result displayed utilising street directory style maps. TDS also gives the fleet manager the ability to develop a historical database of vehicle information and produce reports giving vehicle identification, time and date stamping, street directory co-ordinates and suburb location.

For more detailed reporting, our TDS Reports software allows the fleet manager to record and analyse event data alongside location information. Easy to use reports can be customised and many common “templates” are included for convenience. TDS Reports allows the fleet manager to analyse fleet movements and activity more closely and efficiently.

These systems use hardwired switches, wireless duress “pendants” or a combination of both to trigger alerts. Alerts are transmitted to the QuikTrak Response Centre for immediate action using response procedures tailored to your needs. Periodic testing and operational reporting for each client ensures reliable system performance.

QuikTrak systems can automatically record staff start/stop times and trip start/stop times which can be used to provide periodic reports. This information can be used to plan more efficient management of field staff. Real time tracking of mobile staff for audit purposes is also available, if required.
